Have had this idea in my head for a while now.

A few nights ago, I finally sat down with a box of matches, my tripod and set myself up in the kitchen.

Back to the wall, camera on the table.

Had to work out the proper synchronisation between the 10s self timer on the camera and a quick burning match.

Tricky.

Also, since I couldn't focus myself, I had to hit the lights after pushing the shutter.

16 used matches and some slightly singed hair later, I came up with this.

Thoughts?

its probably cliche to say but - I like the lighting

could've come out bad, i guess, a burned lip for example

That turned out incredibly well. I love the concept and all the ideas that it gives me as a viewer :D
